President
John Lonski is an award-winning financial markets economist, media commentator and speaker. Prior to forming The Lonski Group, he held the position of Chief Economist at Moody’s Investors Service.
Lonski is a frequent contributor on the Fox Business Network covering matters related to economics, markets, and the political economy.
Lonski is also a keynote speaker at financial market conferences. He is a recurring panelist for monthly forecasting surveys conducted by Blue Chip Economic Indicators, Blue Chip Financial Forecasts, and Bloomberg, as well as the Wall Street Journal’s quarterly outlook survey. Lonski also participates in CNBC’s pre-FOMC meeting surveys.
Other recent appearances include the Schwab Network, NewsNation, and Newsmax, and his comments have appeared in all major financial press and media outlets including CNBC, the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Financial Times, Barron’s, Bloomberg and Reuters.
In 2014, Lonski won the prestigious Lawrence R. Klein award, one of the best-known and longest-standing achievements in the field. He has also been named the top economic forecaster by the Wall Street Journal and the leading prognosticator of high-yield bond spreads by Bloomberg.

Jessica Rao is an award-winning media professional with business, lifestyle and corporate/PR experience.
She’s held contributor roles at CNBC and Gannett, and overseen communications for AXA Financial, Moody’s Investors Service and McGraw-Hill. Rao has also run her own firm producing communications and events for financial companies, non-profits and other clients.
